I picked up our furbaby from my Mum’s this afternoon. She very kindly has spent the last 10 days looking after him, despite being allergic to him! He wasn’t as excited to see me as I thought…I got the same greeting I get if I pop out to the shops for 5 minutes! It probably didn’t help that I bumped in to my old driving instructor and his dog when I arrived, so Jasper instantly got the scent of his dog and probably thought I’d been looking after another dog behind his back for the past 10 days…Probably not, but you never know!
I took baby on an adventure to the edge of the world today. The boys were doing manly man internet set up stuff so I popped Jasper in the car and headed up the road to Ness. I left Jasper in the car for our first outing at the Butt, because I ain’t THAT adventurous! Trying to take a photo whilst also keeping a hold of a hyper poodle in strong winds on a cliff is not a good mix.
He got to explore the harbour and play ball/chase rabbits on Eoropie beach. To add to the list of things Jasper has dropped his ball in to, I had to go shoulder deep in to a rabbit hole, along with the ball flinger, to retrieve his ball! Watching a poodle hunt rabbits is one of the funniest things you’ll ever see. If you follow me on Instagram you may have been lucky enough to witness it!
Today was spent daydreaming about sunset beach walks in a warmer climate! This girl is desperate for flip flop season to return. I love Autumn/Winter and getting cosy with scarves and boots, but I’ve had enough of it for one season. I miss the days of just throwing on my flip flops when I leave the flat. Come on Spring/Summer! My feet want to be freeeeee! I’ll continue to wear scarves, of course.
