How adorable are these fluffy puppies!? We headed out to the beautiful Aberdeenshire countryside to meet up with one of Matthew’s old lecturers, her husband, son and dog Sawyer for a puppy plate date and a catch up. It was such a lovely afternoon! Sawyer is a cockapoo, a few months younger than Jasper but he’s slightly bigger than him, and that combination made one very excited puppy! Jasper wasn’t quite sure what to do at first, especially since it was Sawyer’s territory, but it wasn’t long before they were playing together and loving life. SO cute to watch. I had to get a few photos of them together before we left; this was them sitting nicely and licking their lips as we bribed them with treats!
I decided last time Jasper got his haircut that he really needed to be cut more regularly…but since we were already spending more money on his haircuts than mine I was going to have to attempt to cut it myself…well, today I finally gave it a go!
I thought Matthew’s beard clippers would do the job…but other than his face, it was a struggle, so I took the scissors to the rest of his body, and I’ll need to order some doggy clippers to give him a proper cut! For now though, I think he looks good!
I picked up our furbaby from my Mum’s this afternoon. She very kindly has spent the last 10 days looking after him, despite being allergic to him! He wasn’t as excited to see me as I thought…I got the same greeting I get if I pop out to the shops for 5 minutes! It probably didn’t help that I bumped in to my old driving instructor and his dog when I arrived, so Jasper instantly got the scent of his dog and probably thought I’d been looking after another dog behind his back for the past 10 days…Probably not, but you never know!
Happy 100th day of the year! I call this Wet Dog in the Daffies…he looks very happy to be on the lead and not allowed to run off and splash muddy water all over himself!
It was such a yucky day, I put off taking Jasper for his long walk, hoping it would brighten up, but of course it only got worse! So off we went, camera in its raincoat, to try find something pretty to take a photo of on this dull, damp day. I was trying to get a photo of the daffodils by the river, but then Jasper trotted in to shot, and I guess he is kinda cute, even when he’s a wet mop.
I’m getting deja vu…why is there snow again?? This guy spent an hour out in Mum’s back garden, just chillin’ in the snow! He had no desire to come back inside, in the end I had to trick him by throwing his ball in to the house. I can’t wait till we have a garden and he can chill outside for as long as he likes.
