I’ve been surprisingly okay with all the football that’s been on our telly this past week, and Matthew’s phone by the looks of things. I actually kind of enjoy it; laughing at the players when they pretend they’ve just been brutally injured by air, the excitement of the underdogs getting a goal, and Matthew not going overboard and yelling at the TV, just the occasional small outburst…The vuvuzela’s on the other hand, are beginning to drive me nuts.

Today was our 20 week scan! I cannot believe it’s been two months since our 12 week scan…time is moving very quickly! But I’m okay with that because I’m excited to meet this little squisher. Just look at that precious profile!

For the past few weeks I’ve been wondering if I’m feeling baby move, and in the last few days I know for certain I am feeling it! Each day the flickers get stronger, and having seen how much it was stretching out to the sides of its little cocoon yesterday with its long legs I’m surprised I’m not feeling it more! I can’t wait till Matthew can feel it too.

Nights are becoming more uncomfortable, but it’s totally worth it! Nights when I sleep all the way through are already few and far between, but when they do happen they feel even more wonderful.

I’ve been craving ice-cream all week, but I have restrained myself every time I’ve gone to the shop, telling myself I don’t need it. Tonight, however, Matthew bought it, so I don’t feel bad about spending our pennies on it, and I thoroughly enjoyed tucking in to it. Yum!

I decided last time Jasper got his haircut that he really needed to be cut more regularly…but since we were already spending more money on his haircuts than mine I was going to have to attempt to cut it myself…well, today I finally gave it a go!

I thought Matthew’s beard clippers would do the job…but other than his face, it was a struggle, so I took the scissors to the rest of his body, and I’ll need to order some doggy clippers to give him a proper cut! For now though, I think he looks good!

I had a lovely dinner with a couple of the girls tonight at Ask Italian and we were sat in a booth with this wonderful material on the back board. It was so soft! It was such a relaxed atmosphere we ended up sitting chatting for another hour after paying our bill!

I took one photo today, and that’s all I needed to take! I made absolutely delicious (if I do say so myself) slow cooked BBQ pulled pork for our dinner. Mmm mm mmmmm! I should really have opened the bun up to show off that delicious pork, but I actually constructed the bun upside because there was a hole in the bottom and I didn’t want to fiddle with it too much after that…good story! It looked good. Believe me.

Jasper and I fancied a change of scenery today. After a week with sickness, staring at my laptop doing photography courses and clearing out clothes for the charity, we wanted to go on a wee adventure! So we headed to Brimmond Hill to scope it out for potential portrait shoots. Depending what direction the wind’s coming from, it has potential! My cheeks were sore from how cold the wind was at the top, but Jasper was in his element! He loves having a new place to explore, and heather bushes to leap over! He looked cute beside these puddles so I asked him to sit for a photo…he wasn’t too chuffed about having to sit lopsided on some wet rocks.
