Today’s craving came in the form of Microwave Salted Caramel Fudge…I saw the recipe, I can’t even remember where, and couldn’t get it out of my head, so I popped to Tesco for the ingredients. Perhaps it was that it only takes 8 minutes in the microwave that attracted me to it so much!

I’ve only ever made tablet and the process for making that is long and precise (and can result in fudge if not done correctly), so the idea of fudgey goodness in 10 minutes was highly appealing to my sweet tooth! I’m sometimes a bit hesitant when salt is a main flavour in a sweet recipe, but I knew Matthew and his Dad would enjoy it, being more inclined to savoury foods than sweet, and I don’t always enjoy things cooked in a microwave! However, I am pleased to say it was a great success and it’s absolutely delicious!

I’ve lost track of how many pieces I’ve had…I better stop if this baby is to have any chance of having less fillings than me when it grows up!
